Hudeel Now:- The
small yet beautiful village of Hudeel is 105 kms from Jaipur, the capital
of mystic Rajasthan. It is away from the hustle bustle of the city with
a population of appx. 5000 consisting of the Rajputs, Baniya (traders),
Meghwal (farmers) and Khati (wood craftsmen). The wood craftsmen are well
known for their exquisite and fine art.
Hudeel is a tranquil village with a beauty of its own. The dawn witnesses the farmers engaged in their farming which is the major occupation there. The main crops are Bajra and wheat, the staple diet of people of Rajasthan. On the onset into Hudeel we would see a small and beautiful hill of red rocks towards the north east. Mining of the red rocks is another major occupation of the people of Hudeel.
